Music question for you all...

Here's the thing: My little brother got a sudden and quite intense interest in classical music just this week. One of the problems here is that allthough we have both heard quite a lot of classical music (like anyone who watches TV and movies), but remembering titles and names is a different kettle of fish... He downloaded a couple of collections called "Top 100 classical pieces" and things like that, wich was good, but they all seem to contain the same stuff. So where do you go next? Well, I fi… Continue

Cleaning out my closet...

What I've been doing for three days: Packing things in a trailer, unloading them, and cleaning out the old apartment. What I'll be doing for the next few days: London, baby! We're finally moving out of the old apartment properly, so we've been carrying and cleaning all weekend! Actually, we're switching with our neighbors, but my brother will be staying in the apartment this fall, and we'll live in the house. But it'll be so good to have all my stuff! And tonight at three, we'll be leaving for… Continue

Jobs and whatnot...

I'm filling in as a substitute teacher (wich means that for the first time for several years, I have an income. By the godess, I love money!!)Two good things has been happening these past two days: 1) I started writing and rehearsing short plays with one class. This week they were saying that they wanted to do something more of it, and in the end they decided to do put up a play together, the whole class, and perform it for other students on the school. The teacher who usually has them was sayi… Continue

Heh! That banner on my page is part of a story of Inanna's Descent Into The Underworld, as told and illustrated by Miranda Raven with *those* type of dolls. This particular scene is the galla demons coming to get dumuzi, whom Inana has just fingered to replace her in hell so she can go free. It was around maybe 10 years ago. Now as to *why* I picked that image... what can I say, it seemed somehow fitting to be fastened on with the eye of death. Death is that strange thing that really clarifies so much of our lives. Every time I think about it, I ask myself, what would I do differently if I knew I only had a (year / month / week / day / hour / minute) to live? Then I get busy and do it!

Canoeing is a lot of fun, actually! I used to do it when I was in college. I just don't have time to do it too often anymore (maybe I will this summer -- thanks for planting the idea). And thanks for the comment. :)

My silly computer decided to hate the Xylia-page! I`ve been having mental tantrums at it for quite some time now, and I won in the end. Might have been the threats to throw bat-droppings that did it.

Thanks for the comment :D

Thanks for the welcome. I draw fantasy maps. I even age them so that they look like they are ancient and have seen lots of use. Maybe I will post my next one up here so you guys can see it.
