Barb, I meant to tell you this before, and the cover gives me a perfect opportunity to do so. I really like how you draw older people. . Especially the women. You draw them wise and full of stories untold...I could sit down with a cup of tea with this woman!

I like the look on Claudius' face...it's kind of like, "I'm not too sure of all this...", or slight embarrassment of being fawned over with unabashed emotions, not used to having a family and what not.

It's going to be interesting to find out what's up with the girl in the background who has her nose out of joint...I can't wait to see her character unfold.

It's going to be interesting to find out what's up with the girl in the background Yes, she looks like a bit of a, um, b*tch, to tell the truth. But that is, what's her name, Adora?The one we have seen shetches of, right?As I recall it, she looked more stern than haughty in those pics... She doesn't seem pleased anyway, will be interesting to see what's going to happend between her and our hero!

My favourite thing: The blue bird that's heading for Claudius' hair and looks like it's thinking "Hooray, the perfect nesting place!

I like this title page a lot, especially the way you drew the super grinny lady who's giving Claude a hug, there.

Heh, when I first saw the page the way the women were spaced out, and with the magical looking sparks around them, I thought they were all iterations of the same woman and you were doing a kind of wiccan mother-maiden-crone thing, there! :D

Yay- Lisa, I'm so glad that look came across on Claude's face- that is EXACTLY what I was going for. It was a challenge.

Thanks for the props on drawing old folks. I do a lot of caricatures and draw all types of people.

Adora is going to be fun for me. I wont say more than that right now. ^_^
