Kittens!!!! The first litter of the year has arrived in the barn and I'm totally stuck for names. It's been a week long brain fart and I haven't been able to come up with any names for these 4 little cuties, so I'm looking for some suggestions! If you can't make it out in the picture, there are four kittens:

(From left to right)
Kitten A : Is the white guy who's hiding under her face under her brother. She's got a tortoiseshell face and tail, but other than that as you can see she's all white.
Kitten B: Is an orange and white male
Kitten C: Black and white female
Kitten D: Mostly orange female.

Most of our other cats have names from disney movies (Thomas O'Malley, Baloo, Don Karnage) and video games (Cloud, Squall, Kiari, Jak, etc), so those particular names are out of the running, but I'd love to hear what you guys would name these kittens!

Thank ye all kindly!

Hmmm. well, I'm a bit on the odd side. Quite often, I'll name a critter the first thing that pops into my head. In this case, what zinged in there were these: Slash, Velcro, Nibbles and Zoom.

Yeah...I know....but I SAID I'm odd.

Hm... Kitten A: Oki-honna (after a female japanese spirit of the snow), Kitten B: Sherbert (who doesn't like orange sherbert, or orange and cream popsicles?), Kitten C: Yang (Yin and Yang, black and white...yeah) Kitten D: Naranja (spanish word for orange fruit--has a female connotation).

Okay, so I'm just as odd, but hey, I have four cats myself: Rumpus (after The Great Rumpus Cat from Cats: The Musical), Ukari (my sister named her), Jade (looks exactly like my first cat of the same name, and I do mean EXACTLY--I have pictures!), and Dusk (she wasn't a Midnight or a Shadow, but she was found at dusk outside my store in a box--a little all black tribble with blue eyes).

So yeah, my animals have funny names, too. :)

Aaw... Cuties! Lessee what we can think of...
A- Freya
B- Frey
C-Frigg
D-Fulla

All deities from norse mythology. For some reason it seemed that they should begin with an F...Or, it could be Itsy, Bitsy, Teeny and Weeny. Or Lunes, Martes, Miercoles and Jueves, Monday-Thursday in Spanish.
I think I should stop now, or I'll be here all night...

Speaking of deities, how about some Greek gods? (I just did Mycenaean religion. And my friend has a black kitten called Zeus.)
A: Artemis - Goddess of wild things
B: Apollo - God of the sun
C: Athena - Goddess of reason
D: Hera - Queen of the gods (Cause she's all orange)

I just have one name here for the single male of the litter... Tybalt. It means "Prince of Cats" and was the name and meaning of a Shakespeare Character in Romeo and Juliet.

The poor little guy is somewhat outnumbered, he could use a nice name like that. I've always wanted to name my next Cat that, but Brandie is somewhat allergic.

Yeah--cats are wonderful, but that means living off of Zyrtec now... LOL And the hairless ones are just...wrong...so wrong.

Wow! Thanks for all the great names! You guys are all so creative. Since I posted this, went out west for a week and got back to the farm, we have 15 more kittens! I'll be using everyone of these names! Thanks soooooo much everyone!
