Yesterday me and a friend was and saw the new Wolverine movie and I got to say that Hugh Jackman still get my pulse racing in that role. My poor male buddy had to listen to me yap about Wolvie and Hugh Jackman sometime after we come out of the movietheatre.
And I almost did a Nemi by throwing myself at the screen the first time Hugh Jackman showed up on screen, yes I was a shameless fangirl, but it was Jackman as Wolverine so can you blame me. *blushes*
Must say that I loved the movie, now I am not an expert on the comics where Wolverine has a role so I can't say if the people responsible for the movie missed or changed something in the character and his history.
I also loved the fact that they gave a bit of a backstory to sabretooth even if it maybe something the movie makers cooked up.
Something I didn't like was they way they made Wolvie lost his memories, it's like they couldn't come up with a better way and just said 'screw it lets make the bad guys get some of this and do that with it to Wolverine' and kaching instant memoryloss.
Something else I didn't like in the movie was Remy 'Gambit' LeBeau's accent or rather his lack of accent, I may be a nonreader of the comics but even I know that Remy speaks with a New Orleans french accent. Gah, that was a mild disappointment but otherwise the movie was great and Wolvie was hot and so was Remy. ;p
Fun thing was that a teenage Scott Summers had a small role in the movie and so did Xavier.
Anyway if you liked the X-men movies you should see this one.
