We do know. This is Claude's tenth (and last) life. And he first died in 1066 at the Battle of Hastings.

Cute, Cute Pem puppy!

Wanna bet Tychia takes more than one drenching (or whatever) to learn her lesson? When she's angry, she doesn't exactly stop to think things through.

I have a feeling Tychia is going to be very surprised--again. Given her tendency to vent her rage when frustrated, it's anybody's guess what'll happen next. :)

Sorry I missed it on the day, and also all your recent live times. I keep getting the notifications about 10 hours after they'd be of use. ;-) Anyhow, I'm glad you had a happy birthday, and I hope you continue to have a happy year. Best wishes, Barb!

Second look. Watch out, Claudius. Don't let her get her hands on that spear!
June 23
Remember Alitria. Claudius is not above appearing to be sucked in. Hopefully, he's just trying to get her in close so he can kill her with his spear. She'll come back, of course. But, by then he'll have a chance to get on the transcender and get b...

Hope you had a really good day, and that there was cake! Or something else that was nice to eat.

Thank you very much for the tips on legal stuff. I have actually tried several of those avenues, for now since this really SHOULD be a simple case, I'm going to go pro se. I'm not stupid and his lawyer seems to be...

Thank you!

Your corgis are just too adorable; Aliza looks so happy jumping that hurdle! You should send those photos into a dog magazine, they're really good!

Lovely photos! I love the shot of Michael--when they have that intense look, it pulls me in! I have one of each of the Corgi breeds. Porter's my Pem. Murphy's my fluffy Cardi.

The top photo is of my male dog, Michael. Gotta love that intensity.
The second photo is of my female dog (bitch) Aliza, herding sheep. You can tell she really got into it for the first time she ever saw the woolly creatures.
The third is Aliza at agility class. I think you can tell she enjoys that, too.
And the last photo is of Aliza just before she came to me. The photo that made me know she was supposed to be my dog.
Aliza and Michael are the OTHER corgi--Cardigan Welsh Corgis. The corgi with the tail.

Musings on Chocolate

Since the subject of chocolate has come up in another discussion, here's something to think about.

Chocolate is a new world product. That means that there was a time, a few hundred years ago, when our ancestors (unless there's anybody on this forum who is pure Native American) had NO CHOCOLATE. AT ALL. In their WHOLE LIVES!

Forget the zombies and the saws. Somebody should write a horror movie about that.

Guys. A whole world full of premenstrual women. And no chocolate. Think about it.

Make a Difference Day

Well, I just got back from my Make a Difference Day project. Technically, Make a Difference Day is Saturday. But the group I've just gotten involved with was doing a project today. The group is First Book. They're a charity dedicated to getting books into the hands of kids who might not otherwise get a book they could keep.
Several of us, most with reliable therapy dogs, went to the Salvation Army. We read books to five groups of pre-schoolers and one group of seniors. The seniors attend the adu… Continue

Way Different Weekends

Well, the last two weekends couldn't have been different. Last week I was running around in the fresh air playing agility with my dogs. The dogs amazed me by taking first and second places on the Jumpers course and second place on the Standard course. I expected my older dog, Aliza, to do well. She's a pro. She already has her novice agiltiy title in the preferred class (which allows her to run at a lower jump height) and has started over in the regular class. But this was Michael's very first a… Continue

When I have some time to play games, I love strategy games or wargames or city-builders. Especially "antiquity-like" ones. :-D Caesar IV is one of my favorites. Good graphics for a city-builder ! And it's interesting, you have to look after many t...
