Welcome! Way to start - our first triple entry! And even though you're giving me a run for Livy, I'm glad to hear it. :)
They're all well done. I especially like your Katharos. You got the bubbly and the sibling rivalry spot on.

Also, this is not like other forums. This tends to be a friendly, fun atmosphere where people are kind to each other.
So not only welcome, but stay, spend time with us, and come back for next times!

Ee ... if that's the case, I may actually have a look around. There's so few generally *nice* forums out there ... ^^; It would be nice to 'settle' in one.

Truly. And some of the best times are on chat, when Barb's drawing the pages. Last time we broke out in
a case of singing ninjas, and Barb even did us a sketch of them with Tychia as a torch singer! So silly,
and such grand fun! She's not posted it yet, but she's showed it to us in the vidcam. Also, Barb spent an evening doing quicksketch costume changes over her wryly grinning son Jeremy that had me about busting a gut laughing! She'd start in, and we'd see how quick we could guess which character, like the Cat in the Hat, or Jimi Hendrix, Or Elvis, or... on and on we went, chuckling all the way.

Oh, and it was my new friend Vaidia who started the ninja thread that led to the sketch - credit where due! *grin* We have font experts too, so if you're ever searching for the right font for some comic text, this is the place to ask.

See, with the live chat over on the page where the video streams, we can type to Barb while she's drawing, and in between inking or coloring, she answers us. If there's a lot of us at once she'll turn on the microphone. Us East coasters have to stay up a bit later to match time zones, but if you get the chance, it's
always a good time. And just getting to watch Barb draw is so cool. Now I begin to see how she does some of her incredible detail work, and also to have a fuller appreciation of the time it takes to create each page.

We'd be pleased to have you join us - she usually does a Wed. night session, and she'll send an e-mail announcement.

Your profile says you're American, so I'm very impressed with the accent - until I looked, I would have said you were definitely English.

Robin- I'm tickled to hear that. To my ears those accents sound great, but I'm an American, so what do I know? ^_^

I hope you will consider an entry! We have Fransisco's who is from England - it would be great to get another Brit in the contest!

Hi everyone! This is my first venture onto your forums as well, though I've given it thought before. I almost did the video thing,, which would be fun, but this way gets it through faster. I'm enough of a perfectionist that making three could well run me up against the deadline. ;-)

I very much hope you enjoy them; I went for additional parts on all three, so they're rather long,, but hopefully that means more chance to get it right.

Anyway, here are my files! Any more I was going to say about each of them feels suspiciously like rambling,, so I'll leave that off.
