Rats ... I completely forgot that, in the rules, we were limited to three character entries. Sorry about that! I'd ask for an exception, but I don't want to give anybody cause to cry foul. :-) So, after giving it some thought, I'm withdrawing my Ambrosia audition ... though I did have fun with it. So as to not hurt my chances with the others, I'm withdrawing this one because, while I think I did a decent Ambrosia, I've heard a few other Ambrosia's I thought were superior to mine.
Here is my audition for Oly. The line was a bit short, so I included a fun improv of "Drill Sergeant Oly" at the end (based on the picture of Oly hounding a bag-o-stones carrying Claudius up the mountain).
Finally, here is my entry for Deimos. I *LOVED* doing icy ... and evil. I've never played a villain before, and really enjoyed trying to come across trying to pull off a sincere, but still malevolent, character.
Hi all! Looong time reader, but never had the guts to get myself chatting. Crazy too since I generally like forums. :P
Must say, as an actor with voiceover experience, I was really excited by the prospect of this contest. And scared to death because I didn't want to butcher any amazing characters. I've been working on and off all week, being the perfectionist that I am, and now I humbly submit, for your review, my audition for she who has always been my favorite character.
That crazy, evil, fabulous Tychia.
Thought about doing another character too but I didn't want to lose my focus, so I decided to keep my attention on Tych. Now as a little extra for all of you, I've included some lines from when she first comes into the scene in Chapter 1 because I thought it would be great fun to play act a little bit, when she pretends to be innocent and a damsel in distress. (Like we'd believe her now :P)
Thanks for humoring my entry, everybody, and I can't wait to see how the casting turns out. With so much talent here, I'm sure it's going to be a brilliant trailer :)
