Rules on posting and being a member
First off, thank you for joining the forum, you are officially a Xyliac!
Here are some guidelines to make the place as enjoyable and fun for everyone as we can. I am fortunate to have the BEST readers on the web, and some of the nicest people around following here, but I just want to be sure that we have some boundaries. Respect is the key word.
Number One Rule (this one is in blood)
NO discussions of religion or politics.
This has always been a personal rule of mine, and is especially important in a multi-cultural membership like we have here. As I have always said, there are a bazillion other places on the web where you can get into political arguments and disagreements on faith to your heart's content. This is not one of those places.
This does not mean that you aren't allowed to say "you are in my prayers' or to not mention any of your personal beliefs in your posts. I just don't want argument about them.
Number Two Rule
No profanity.
PG here. No bad cursing, please. Or blatant nudity. We have some young people that wander our halls, and some folks just find it offensive. You are welcome to use Tychia speak #$%^ - that's fine. If you want to link to something that might be offensive, please state that in your post.
Number Three Rule
Be nice.
This sounds pretty straight forward, but let me explain. Snarkiness and flaming has no place here. If that's your game, you will be booted straight out. That said, from time to time someone might say something in jest that another poster might take offense to. If you come across a post of this nature, please PM me and let me know. If you would like, you can POLITELY PM the person leaving the message and ask for clarification. Please do not post a response on the thread accusing someone of wrong doing. I believe misunderstandings are best dealt with privately, and this is the policy I maintain. Ultimately, I will make the determination as to what is or isn't offensive. Because this is MY forum. I'm the Faerie Queen of all I survey here. ^_^

This is a big one! I want everyone to feel free to have fun- share your stuff, share your art, your webcomics, your favorite things, your thoughts on Xylia, and what you're doing!
