Now don't worry - everybody listed IS getting a part!
But before I figure the rest of the assignments out, I need to know who can participate.
So, please reply, yes or no, by July 31, 2009, by posting to this thread, right here.
Once I know who's in, I can finish the rest of the casting.

Also, I am VERY A.D.D.! So, if for some reason, your name is not here, and you *were*
a vox entrant in Round 1, please clue me! I want everybody included who took
the chance and made an entry, (if you all have time.) I would never leave anyone out
intentionally, but I might glitch accidentally. Hopefully, this will cover any such
mischance.

So please reply here by 7-31-09, and once I have cast involvement firmed up,
we'll see about each recording our own parts for this lovely absurdity! :)

And for the record, I'm in. I better be, since I wrote the spoofy thing! *grin*

And singing is one of the special skills we do need, because of Scene 4. So if you'd like to "Ninjiptian", would you
please post a sample of you singing the spoof lyrics, (not choruses, just the wordy verse parts) here please?

Permalink Reply by Peg on July 29, 2009 at 7:37am: You're welcome, and welcome aboard. :) As we chatted about while Barb was drawing, last night, this is how supporting roles will work. Supporting roles, which are all those not previously won in the first vox contest, (except Glykeria, who I am voicing, (having the right annoying tone for her) *wry grin* and the Singing Ninjas, who do need to sing) all the rest of the roles go out by random draw. This is to avoid 3 people asking for one role, and possibly feelings getting hurt. Random draw is random, and so everybody gets a chance, and roles are luck of the draw.

Also, everyone who tries out by 7-31-09 will get some sort of part. It may be small, yet you will be included. Our goal is to be as inclusive as possible. We do have deadlines, to keep it from dragging out too long in production. However, if there is enough interest, there may be a sequel spoof as well. That would not happen immediately - our next step will be to get all parts recorded for the first spoof, and then spliced together. A second spoof might occur after Christmas,
to let people use holiday break time to record. But that is a very tentative plan, and may change.

So, check back next week, when a full list of all participants and which roles they have will be posted. :) That part of the plan is current, and on track. :)
