Barb, my dear talented friend,

Your art is some of the best on Keenspot or anywhere! (I'm not knocking the others, I like them too. It's just
that, artistically, you are out ahead by light years.) And naturally, it takes time to produce a result so outstanding. I truly enjoy watching you draw - I always wondered how it could be done. Getting to see that in progress is, for me, a wonderful gift. Thank you so much for giving us that! :)

Meanwhile, our economy is in a painful, stressful place. My bet is, people still care about Xylia, it's simply that they feel distracted and down about their own challenges. And when people feel stressed, it can be
hard for them to remember to reach out to others. Yet at the same time, that's when we all need each other the most. People who don't know where their next jar of peanut butter is coming from may feel bad that
they'd like to donate, and simply can't right now. Been there myself, more times than I can count.

Yet despite all our challenges, we're still here, and we still care. And this time, even more than money, it's some honest words of praise that are needed here. We *all* can give that.

So chime in, my other friends online - Barb needs some cheer! Let's give her lots and lots of that. :)

It's true: there's very few comics with art of this caliber. So few that I can probably name most of them. =( And if the art is good, is the story enjoyable? Xylia Tales is a comic with a rare combination of interesting writing and decent art. And fairies! To be honest, this is the only fairy comic I've found that I can recall in a sea of elves, vampires and werewolves and ninjas and robots...
