Thought I'd share a poem...

Wrote it some time back, now, while still feeling in one of those dry periods... though it was interestingly followed by something of a more misty period.  But yeah, anyway, the poem...To Heal Dry GroundGround too long left dryGrows hard and brittle,Shrinks and breaks,And crumbles from the cracksTo dust that trembles at a breathAnd when it’s in those fragmentsSometimes true and driving rainCan only scar:The rushing batteryWill drive the pieces, crushed, away. But water that, in deluge,Might…See More

Thank you for sharing this inspiring and POSITIVE story, Sar-fitb. Yes, that guy is a hero, and like most real heroes, he would probably argue that fact. Hooray, Brent! ~B

The Tale of a Hero

How many us of pay attention to police officers anymore? That is, unless they pull into the lane behind us and we slow down in fear of speeding tickets?

Let me tell you a story. A story about a police officer.

His name is Brent and he and his family go to my church. They were on vacation at a fun park. They were waiting for a turn at the go-carts when the incident happened. An inexperienced driver was in the loop when a two year old somehow wandered onto the track. The… Continue

The Tao of Danger-Ryu #1- The Flow of Time.

Tick Tock.

Time is moving.

Recently, I have been thinking over many things, especially in the creativity department. Slowly I had found myself looking at Micheal Turner art on the internet. Then I realized that I had lent my Turner stuff to a friend, and that after Turner's untimely death, I didn't even look at his artwork for a very long time.

Quite a few months back, I was in Bayamon (for you who know not, Bayamon is a…

Update on Job Hunting, new writing project and general things

I had two interviews this week. On Monday, I met up with someone from the Job Centre to go through interview technique. I am getting better. We'll have to see whether it was good enough.

I've caught up on my sleep. Wednesday night was horrible because I was too hot so found it difficult sleeping. My second interview of the week was on Thursday morning.… Continue

Family trouble

Don't often blog, but right now I think I need all the ventilation holes I can get...

Backstory: Last weekend, my sister moved into my house. She and her boyfriend have broken up and sold their house, and she's staying with us untill she's found an apartment.

Let's just say things got off to a bad start. She didn´t feel welcome, but instead of saying something she kept it all inside. She spent Monday... not talking. On Tuesday me and my boyfriend wanted to talk it over with… Continue
